I grew up in the north of New Zealand's North Island, which means I didn't 'discover' the South Pacific.  I was raised in it.  The landscapes, the pace, the back roads that don't make it onto maps, the spots worth the detour.  I know them because they were simply home.

 

But home isn't the only place that shaped how I see the world.

 

Before Seven Hats Travel, I ranched in Montana and spent time chasing big game fish off Hawaii.  Two places that couldn't feel more different from each other - but they taught me something that no certification can: how to read a place.  How to find what's real in a destination rather than what's been packaged for visitors.

 

That instinct is what I bring to every trip I plan.

 

Seven Hats Travel exists because I believe the right trip isn't just well-organized - it's deeply personal.  Not a checklist of highlights, but a journey that fits who you are and how you like to move through the world.
